Testing a concrete beam

Did some reinforced concrete beam testing today at the lab. Woot....civil engine labs are always interesting !

Checking for cracks on the beam using a microscope. Pretty interesting. I've always thought that engineers just approximate the size. Didn't know they have to be this accurate.
The data goes straight to the computer. No need read or measure the data manually :P
Graphs will be plotted for you too !
Concrete beams with stress and strain gauge.
Big big steel beam to support the equipment that exert loads on the concrete beam.
